Beerse - 2016
Christophe and Silke really wanted to live in a wood. Unfortunately, many of the trees on this large piece of land in a new residential part of Beerse had been uprooted. Architect couple Maria Marco and Matthias Van Halewijck designed an atypical house with large windows to let in as much light as possible. I threw in a fair number of birch and pine trees and now it looks as if the wood had never disappeared. Christophe and Silke’s dream has come true!
